Learning Environment

Our extensive grounds and engaging learning environments across the school promote high standards of teaching and learning as well as supporting the children’s mental health and well-being.  We are fortunate to have well-equipped playgrounds, a large field for sporting and community events with a purpose built running track, a dedicated building for music and drama, an outdoor learning area within our forest area, children’s gardening areas and our school pond.

Inside the school, our classrooms and learning areas are warm, welcoming and highly engaging spaces to foster a love of learning.  Each classroom is well-equipped and carefully organised by teaching staff to support all children.  We have two nurture rooms across the school which provide calm spaces for reflection.

To promote a love of reading, we have a purpose-built library which is well stocked with a wide range of rich and diverse texts.  Classes spend time each week in the library to share favourite stories and choose a book to take home. We are fortunate enough to have a well-equipped attractive building with spacious ground.
