At The Hawthorns Primary School, we warmly welcome everyone into our community.
Our staff, pupils, and parents work together to create a happy and inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. We are committed to helping both children and adults reach their full potential and grow into confident, capable individuals.
This page will show you how we work and the provision we offer. There are also links to Wokingham's Local Offer and useful resources for parents to access.

Ordinarily Available Provision (OAP) guidance outlines the inclusive provision and support that schools in Wokingham Borough are expected to implement from within their own resources for all learners including those with a Special Educational Need or Disability (SEND). Please refer to the OAP guidance document below for further details.
Some children may require an SEND Support Plan which is reviewed termly between the school and parents.
A small number of children may require an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), which outlines the support a child would receive in school.
An EHCP brings together Health, Education and Social care in one document with statutory accountability. The design of the plan ensures that all of a pupil's needs are identified and provision put in one place.
